Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
VITA is a non-profit organization that offers free tax preparation to people who make $62,000 or less and need assistance in preparing their tax returns. Our IRS-certified volunteers provide free income tax return preparation to qualified individuals and families in our local communities of Isla Vista and Goleta.
Meetings: VITA has meetings on an as-needed basis.

Undergraduate Accounting Society (UAS)
UAS is a student-led organization designed to connect UCSB's undergraduates with job opportunities in the accounting field, encourage fellowship amongst academic colleagues, and further build and refine our students' professional brands.
Meetings: Tuesdays at 6:30pm in the Alumni Hall in the Mosher Alumni House.
Management Consulting Group (MCG)
The UCSB Management Consulting Group (MCG) is committed to promoting the interests of students considering management consulting, law, entrepreneurship, and finance while creating synergy with actual professionals in the field. As of one UCSB's elite business clubs, MCG supports and facilitates interaction maoung consulting professionals, UCSB students, faculty and alumni through career and social events. Members become prepared for the industry's rigorous recruiting process with organizing resume reviews, case workshops, mock interviews and guest speakers.

Associated Students Office of the Controller (OTTC)
Associated Students Office of the Controller (OTTC) is responsible for conducting financial oversight over existing units and incorporating new ventures into the Associated Students of UCSB. They’ve created the Technology Rental Program, where students can rent iClickers, Graphing Calculators, etc., for a fraction of the cost. The revenue from the program helps fund other new ventures.

The Finance Connection aims to bridge the gap between Wall Street and UCSB by seeing as the preeminent resource for students and alumni interested in the field of finance. We are dedicated to teaching undergraduate students about the finance industry and preparing Gauchos for a successful career on Wall Street. Through our Mentorship Program and numerous events, we look to connect students with successful alumni as well as provide necessary tools to succeed in this highly competitive industry.
Meetings: Wednesdays at 7:30pm in North Hall 1110.
Associated Students Community Financial Fund (CFF)
Community Financial Fund is the only financial literacy program on campus. The unit is dedicated to helping students feel financially empowered so that they are able to make good financial decisions. The unit accomplishes this goal through teaching financial literacy workshops as well as distributing grants to students in need of financial assistance. If you would like to be a part of Community Financial Fund, please consider becoming a mentor. Mentors help facilitate financial literacy workshops, plan events, grow program curriculum, and help other students.
Meetings: Thursdays at 7:00pm (Location changes weekly)
The Undergraduate Office, 2121 North Hall, is open from 8:00 am until noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The departmental undergraduate academic advisors are available for walk-in advising any time the office is open. You may direct your questions about courses, requirements, schedules, substitutions, and petitions to the undergraduate advisors or the peer advisors.
UCSB's Entrepreneurs Association gives motivated and creative individuals the opportunity to build their networks and meet distinguished professional speakers every week. Our club works with students to the best of its ability and resources to help make their dreams and goals a reality a and also provides internship and employment opportunities. Students, grads, and faculty with existing business are encouraged to contact are encouraged to contact us for assistance with scaling business and finding capital.

The Career Connection is an initiative by the UCSB Department of Economics to assist students in their crucial transition from college to career. Through a number of practical, professionally oriented activities, Career Connection enables students to capitalize on the academic training they receive through the department’s regular curriculum.
